Preparation before your Profhilo treatment begins:
If you’re considering a Profhilo treatment at Araya Beauty clinic, you may be wondering if it’s the right option for you. Profhilo is best suited for anyone aged 25–60 who want to fight the signs of ageing on their skin. It is safe to use at any age, but after 60 the skin is likely to have more sagging and folds that may need a combination of Profhilo with other anti-wrinkle treatments.
Profhilo is safe to use on every skin type. It’s the ideal treatment to fight tired, dull-looking skin and it’s a great way to target saggy neck skin and ageing hands. This treatment is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant, breastfeeding, or allergic to the ingredients; nor is it suitable for use on infected or irritated skin.
Before coming in for your first treatment, you can book in for a quick consultation with our aestheticians who will outline the process, risks, side effects, and aftercare process for you.
In the 24 hours before your treatment, avoid taking anti-inflammatory painkillers (e.g. aspirin, ibuprofen) and refrain from drinking alcohol. If you notice any signs of skin infection such as acne or cold sores in the area to be treated, contact your treatment specialist at Araya Beauty to confirm that you will still be able to receive treatment.
Profhilo is an injectable hyaluronic acid treatment for skin laxity on the face, neck, or hands, offering intense hydration and tighter, more luminous skin. Some call it the injectable skin glow!
This anti-ageing treatment contains higher concentrations of hyaluronic acid than dermal fillers, with 64mg of HA per injection. Unlike a dermal filler treatment, Profhilo does not give volume, it instead provides a slow release of hyaluronic acid below the skin surface to hydrate and rejuvenate.
Because hyaluronic acid is a natural ingredient that supports the production of collagen and elastin in your dermis, Profhilo treatments help reduce sagging, even skin tone, boost luminosity, and improve skin quality with results lasting up to 6 months.
