Prior to your leg and arm waxing treatment here at Araya Beauty, please ensure that your arm/leg hair is at least a couple fo milimetres long, or as long as it possibly can be, making it an ideal length for waxing.

Please refrain from applying any oil-based moisturisers to ensure you get the most from your waxing treatment with us.

If your skin is sunburned or irritated or inflamed, wait for it to heal. Before your treatment, our waxperts will wash with a mild soap and warm (not hot), gently exfoliating to remove dead skin. We then soak the skin for up to 10 minutes.

Within the comfort of a specialised private waxing room in our salon, you can remove any clothing covering the area to be waxed. Please point out any moles, lesions, or other areas that could be affected or torn by waxing to your hair removal ‘waxpert’, and ask any questions.

When you’re ready, your therapist will cleanse the area to be waxed and apply a talcum powder to eliminate any sticky residue from building up once the wax is applied. Applied in sections, the warmed wax will dry quickly, and your unwanted hair will peel away as the wax product is removed.

Your aesthetician will apply a skin product (e.g. shea butter) to the waxed area to soothe the skin.

Waxing restores confidence after treatment by facilitating the provision of silky, smooth skin.
