Preparation before your LVL Lash Lift treatment begins:

We’ll need to perform a patch test 48 hours before your LVL eyelash enhancement, to test the products against your skin and make sure there are no allergies or sensitivities.

Because this treatment works on your natural lash line, you should keep your eyelashes clean on the day of your treatment, and remove false lashes. We will also clean your lashes before we start the treatment.

Before your treatment begins, we will discuss the style you want to achieve, deciding on the colour of your eyelash tint and the tightness of the curl.

The entire LVL lash lift process takes about 50 minutes from start to finish, with most of this time being used to close your eyes, relax, and let the serums work their magic. 

To start, our qualified lash artist will cleanse your eyelashes and apply the appropriate shape shield to protect your under-eye area. 

Depending on the type of curl you choose, we will apply the appropriate curling rod (a small silicone bar) to your upper eyelid, above the lash line. Our lash expert will use a bonding gel to press your eyelashes against the curling rod, holding them in place and encouraging the lift and curl action we’re looking for. 

We will then cover your natural lashes with a lifting balm, which will manipulate the hairs and lift them from the root. Next, we’ll apply a volumising fix to seal your lashes into their newly lifted, curly look. Lastly, we will tint the lashes.

How to look after your lashes after an LVL treatment:

In the 48 hours after your treatment, it’s extremely important that you avoid getting your eyelashes wet, as this would damage the treatment. You should also avoid wearing eye makeup in these 48 hours. 

To get the most out of your long-lasting LVL treatment, there are a few things you can do to maintain your beautiful lashes in between visits to the salon:

• Brush your lashes through with an eyelash brush every day, or any time you get them wet
• Avoid rubbing or pulling on your lashes
• Take care when removing eye makeup, gently pressing your makeup remover against your lashes rather than scrubbing them
• Avoid using eyelash curling tools (luckily, your naturally curly lashes won’t need them anyway)
• Avoid oils in your makeup and skincare products
